Captain was one of the absolute best cats around. He had the most confident, loving and outgoing personality. Shortly after coming to the rescue we noticed there seemed to be something off with him and upon lots of diagnostic testing, found out that he had life threatening anemia due to blood parasites, likely from fleas during his time as a stray. He gave us a huge scare as it took quite a few rounds of costly medication, blood transfusions and hospital visits, but, he is a fighter and he pulled through, stronger and goofier than ever. Soon after he healed up, his great personality showed through stronger than ever and it was only a matter of days before he found his forever home with a loving family and canine brother who are all so excited to have him around. Yay Captain!
