GMO’s Love Story
Meet GMO, our ultimate gentle giant! This big black-and-white boy has a heart as big as his size and a face that instantly steals your heart. Affectionate, calm, and irresistibly sweet, GMO loves chin scratches, snuggles, and lounging by your side, purring contentedly every step of the way.
His unique name comes from a funny first impression: when his foster first saw him, she said, “I know you said big, but I wasn’t expecting this — he looks like some sort of GMO cat!” and the name stuck. Despite his size, GMO is a soft-hearted cuddlebug with impeccable manners and an easygoing nature.
GMO did face challenges before rescue, having spent time on the streets and testing positive for FIV. But that never slowed him down—he’s perfectly capable of a happy, loving life with the right people, and we guided his adopters every step of the way.
GMO found his perfect forever family after they lost their home in the Eaton Fire. They were looking to heal their hearts with the love of a pet, and GMO’s gentle, affectionate nature was exactly what they needed.
