Merlot’s Love Story
Merlot, the pint-sized ball of fur with a personality as unique as the finest wine! This crazy little spitfire of a kitty may be petite, but he’s bursting with energy and charm. Merlot doesn’t know the meaning of shyness; he’ll steal your heart with his bold and fearless spirit in just a second. But don’t let the wild side fool you; Merlot is also a total purr machine, transforming into a cuddle expert, literally melting into your arms as you hold him. He overcame some incredible odds and has been a fighter since day one. He was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia that required surgical correction at just 6 weeks of age, but he did not weigh enough to be a surgical candidate at the time. This boy was so very patient and continued to grow until he was ready for surgery day at which point his hernia was finally able to be permanently repaired. He never lost his spirit and had such a good attitude throughout recovery. We are happy to announce once he was cleared, he was quickly adopted and has only grown and spread love to everyone he meets. Congratulations Merlot on finding your forever family after staying strong for so long, we love you buddy!
