Alfy & Cleopatra’s Love Story
Alfy and Cleopatra are two of the most exotic Egyptian Sphynx cats imaginable. Sadly their owner passed away and entrusted this brother and sister pair of felines to a close friend who determined that their high maintenance and care would be better suited for someone else. Their custodian knew that the Rescue would take great care in finding Alfy and Cleopatra just the right home with an extremely dedicated family. Many people don’t realize how involved it is to hygienically care for these amazing creatures, including weekly baths, ear cleanings, and even possible sun screen applications. Alfy and Cleo found their forever home with a family who was well researched on the breed and 100% ready to do everything imaginable to keep these two healthy, safe, and loved. Their new family was ready to discourage any naughty behaviors with remote correction including using smell, taste and touch, but also encourage happy healthy behavior with tall cat perches (which both cats love), scratching posts, and lots and lots of attention. Their new owner works from home. We are so happy that Alfy and Cleopatra found a forever home with such a dedicated family of cat lovers!
