When she first came into our care, she was a little wary of new places and people, but all she truly wanted was a calm, safe home to call her own. Once Babs has time to adjust, her affectionate side shines. She purrs the moment you start petting her, leans into head scratches, and even rolls over to have her belly rubbed. Her “booty pop” — a playful jack-in-the-box move when she’s enjoying scratches — always brings a smile to our faces! Babs thrives in a calm, patient environment where she can feel safe and take things at her own pace. Her perfect match came in the form of a family who understood her independent nature and were willing to give her the time and space she needed.
