All payments made through our website—including donations or the purchase of rescue-support items—are processed through third-party platforms such as PayPal, Zeffy, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

• Donations are generally non-refundable, as they directly support our rescue operations as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
• However, we may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
• For physical items:
• We allow exchanges or refunds if items arrive damaged or incorrect.

3. Shipping

• We currently ship within the United States only
• Shipping addresses are taken directly from the payment method used
• We are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or issues caused by shipping carriers

4. No User Accounts

We do not require or provide user accounts. Any forms submitted (volunteer applications, newsletter sign-ups, etc.) are voluntary and do not create a user profile on our site.

5. Applications & Submissions

By submitting any form (including volunteer or adoption applications), you acknowledge:

• Submission does not guarantee acceptance or approval
• All applications are reviewed at our discretion
• We reserve the right to accept, deny, or remove any applicant or volunteer at any time

6. Animal Adoption Terms & Disclaimer

By adopting an animal from One Love Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, you agree to the following:

Health Disclosure

We disclose any known medical conditions or health concerns prior to adoption. However:

• Animals may have unknown conditions at the time of adoption
• Animals may develop illnesses or health issues after adoption

Veterinary Responsibility

The adopter assumes full responsibility for all future veterinary care, including:

• Routine check-ups
• Vaccinations
• Emergency care
• Any medical conditions that arise after adoption

No Guarantees

All animals are adopted “as-is” without guarantees regarding:

• Health
• Behavior
• Temperament

Adoption Fees

• All adoption fees are non-refundable
• Fees support the care of rescued animals and ongoing rescue operations

Spay/Neuter Requirement

All cats, dogs, and rabbits are spayed or neutered prior to adoption as part of our commitment to responsible rescue practices.

Return Policy (Required)

If, for any reason, you are unable to keep the animal:

• The animal must be returned to One Love Animal Rescue & Sanctuary
• Animals may not be rehomed, sold, or transferred to another party
• Adoption fees will not be refunded

Right to Deny or Reclaim

We reserve the right to:

• Deny any adoption application at our discretion
• Reclaim an animal if we believe it is being neglected, abused, or kept in unsafe conditions

No Breeding or Resale

Adopted animals may not be:

• Bred
• Sold
• Used for commercial purposes

Limitation of Liability (Adoptions)

By adopting an animal, you agree that One Love Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is not liable for:

• Any injuries, bites, or damages caused by the animal
• Any medical or behavioral issues that arise after adoption

Follow-Ups

We may request updates on adopted animals from time to time. While appreciated, these updates are not required.

Age Requirement

Adopters must be 18 years or older

By submitting your email through our forms or newsletter sign-up, you agree that we may contact you regarding:

• Rescue updates
• Events
• Volunteer opportunities
• General communications related to our mission

You may opt out of communications at any time.

8. Media & Content

• Photos and media of animals are used to support awareness and adoption efforts
